These are all good questions and we're glad you're seeking a deeper understanding of this disorder by looking and asking for help. It is in this community of mutual caring and sharing that

the C.E.A.S.E. Foundation has framed it's vision to shine a ray of HOPE for all those who can benefit from our efforts to empathize, educate and encourage. These lofty goals are simple by nature but at the same time deeply entwined with myths, fear and apathy. Our HOPE is to help others better navigate through this sea of misinformation, medical jargon, cultural stereotypes and general confusion around an age old condition. The foundation is served by Board Members not chosen out of crisis but rather consensus. These volunteers were asked to serve because they shared a common commitment to making a difference for children less fortunate maybe than their own. We HOPE that our efforts to raise funds for research, to speak clearly and frankly about a widely misunderstood disorder, and to find strength in others touched by epilepsy, will make a difference for someone.
